Dr. Keith Phillips earned his D.M.D From the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine before attending the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he received his M.S.D and certificate in Prosthodontics. This higher degree of training as a prosthodontist focuses in areas of dentistry such as cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Following his postdoctoral education, Dr. Phillips went on to become an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Chief of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He then came back to the Seattle area where he was the Director of then Graduate Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington from 1996-2004.
Dr. Phillips is credentialed in IV Sedation Dentistry, and is one of only a few Prosthodontists in Washington State who is Board Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. In 2014 he was the first dentist in Washington to earn a Certified Dental Technician credential, specializing in implants. Dr. Phillips has been voted to the Seattle Met Top Dentist list every year since 2012.
Currently, Dr. Phillips is an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Southern California. He continues to lecture both nationally and internationally, and has a multitude of textbook and journal publications. He also served as a former Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA).
Dr. Keith Phillips is married with two adult children, and one grandson. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
